I just have to let out some frustration. I HATE (yes, I meant to use a very strong word there) the word verification things on blogs when you leave comments! I can never get it right on the first time and sometimes it seriously takes 5 different letter combinations before I get it. Or more! I never know if it is a q or a g or a capital I or lowercase l or an R or a K or a B or an 8 or a j or an i. And some of them are all squished together and I can't tell where the letters end and begin. The italicized thing doesn't help either. Sometimes I think "oh phew, this is an easy one there is no way I won't get it" and then it still makes me do it over! I can't stand it. I think I am done leaving comments on anyone with that option on the blog. Not only do they make it hacker proof, or what ever it is there for, it makes it Jenni proof too. I don't have it on my blog and I never get any spam random comments so what is it for? Does anyone else have this problem? I mentioned this to Elizabeth one day and she looked at me like I was crazy. Am I crazy???

I am right there with you...It drives me completely crazy too...I also never get it right...I wonder why it is there, I don't have it and I don't have any problems! We should just ban the blogs with them!
You are too funny Jenni. Yea I have a few problems with them but I don't know many people with them. There isn't one on my blog right?
ha! I think I do have one on my blog, though I don't remember asking it to be there. If it means a frusterated Jenni and no more comments from you -- GONE in a second :)

I am with you...I spend more time figuring out the letters and tilting my head to read it than I do leaving the comment :)
Jenni-I did just notice that they have a "handicap" sign next to the box...maybe you should check into that.:)
I HATE them! I was thinking this the other day cause several of my friends have them. And I was wondering why people have them. It must be some kind of security option.
so i really don't like them either, but, jenni, they're always lowercase letters. not number and not uppercase, so that should cut the mistakes in half for you.
No way Elizabeth! That sure makes it a bit simpler. That will make it easier but it doesn't change the fact that I hate them.
Are you really that bad of a typer? I only mess up about 1 in 20 times. Yea...I'm bragging!
Sorry Jenni...I have it, but only because I have had "spam" comments left several times. So...I'm leaving mine. Practice makes perfect :)
okay so I know I have this on mine and I am not sure how to turn it off. I will try for your sake, sorry if my blog has ever caused a headache. It can be tricky sometimes.
I agree, they're a pain in the rear end. I've never had any problems with spam comments either, so I have no idea how it happens (knock on wood)! If I have to retype the thing, I end up not leaving a comment.
I am so with you Jenni! What a waste of time! I don't have one on mine and I have NEVER had any spam comments come through. I was wondering when some one was going to agree with me on this! Thanks for validating me and please people, remove them! They are so annoying!
