New Years Eve

New Years Eve was actually spread out between two nights for us. My Brother Taylor and his family spent the actual New Years Eve and Christmas morning with my sister in laws family so Sunday night we did the nativity with the kids and then had a really yummy fondue dinner with the adults after the kiddos were in bed. On Monday we went tubing, some went to the torch light parade and after a visit from Santa the grandkids opened the traditional P.J's before bedtime.

She was an adorable little wise man but she wasn't that into it...
being a camel, however was the greatest!
Axel the donkey and Alex the camel.
Ayden made one adorable Mary.
Look how sweet and motherly she is.

Janelle the angel.
And lo the angel of the Lord came upon them... and they were sore afraid. I played one good looking Shepard, don't ya think?

Mmmmm...cheese. I LOVE cheese and fondue (my Dad's fondue to be more precise) is one of the greatest things to do with cheese. This will forever be a tradition if I have anything to do with it.

On actual Christmas Eve we went sledding, I mean TUBING, as Ayden will correct you at Gorgoza park.

Every Christmas Eve a man in my parents ward dresses up like Santa and visits all the families. Ayden and Janelle thought it was the greatest thing in the world but Alex was terrified.

Santa said the Mom's and Dad's needed a picture with him too.

Jenni,
I'm glad you're back...I've been missing our blogging group-it will be nice to get life back to normal; except the vacation has been nice!! New York looked like a blast! Spence and I are going next Thursday for the weekend. I can't wait! I loved reading all your posts. You are lucky to be driving distance to your family. It looks like you really lived it up!! Happy New Year! L, Summer

I love all your family's fun traditions. I love th fondue idea...I think I may adopt that. Wish I could have seen you while you were in town, but if your visit was anything like mine, you were probably booked solid from the time you arrived.
