Halloween 2010

Good old pumpkin carving.  Laela is trying to figure out what we are doing.
This is the first year we got Ayden and Alex to dig in their pumpkin.  A proud moment indeed.

The girls were all lady bugs this year.  I already had Laela's costume which both Ayden and Alex have worn before and then I found the other two half off at old navy so we went with it.

Brad and I went to a Halloween party that was a total blast.  We went as Peeta and Katniss from the Hunger Game book series but we made a twist by making Brad Peta instead of Peeta.

Our hosts, Axl Rose and Slash

They surprised us by performing Welcome to the Jungle and totally entertained us.

This is Jen and she had the best costume.

Ayden playing goalie.  She was a great goalie and it is her fav position for sure.

Laela and her green smoothie.  My mom got us hooked and I am so glad I have a little sidekick to drink them with. To be fair my other side kicks are now drinking them too.  It was just a whole lot harder to convince them that drinking green sludge is pretty yummy.

Ayden and Laela right after going down the slide.  I just love that little face!

October 2010- Mud Run and Wedding

Brad and I along with Brad's sister Amanda and our friends Elisha and Tom Barry were crazy enough to participate in the first Anual mud run in Boise at Bogus Basin.  It was a blast and we are definitely planning on making it a tradition.  Let me know if these pictures make you want to join us!

 Starting off clean!
Brad is even so happy about it we are getting a thumbs up!

This is right before the very end.  As you can see, I am pretty much the only muddy one.  There was not a lot of mud on the course prior to the end but Brad made sure to throw me in one of the only puddles.  There were obstacles such as walls to climb over, tunnels, hay bales, tires, a beer chug and  a huge slip n slide.  Next year they are improving it to include more mud through out the course.

We did have to climb through a huge vat of mud at the end though.

Eddie and Laela hanging out while we were running.

A huge thanks to Brads mom Marsha and Mike for watching the kiddos up there while we were gone.

Thanks to Jeff too for helping with the kids and taking pictures!

The reason Brad's family members were in town this weekend was for the wedding of Brad's cousin Linsey.  She was honestly the most beautiful bride I have ever seen and it was a gorgeous evening and tons of fun.

Brads sister Nicki came from Utah with out her kids so it was a nice little break for her.
