Happy Bithday Bradly!

Happy Birthday babe. I hope you know how loved you are by all of your girls. You are an amazing husband and father. We appreciate how hard you work for our family to help meet our financial need as well as our emotional and spiritual ones too. That is a tough job when you are a father of all girls (especially the ones you have :).
WE LOVE YOU!

32 Weeks

Nice picture, don't ya think? Just be happy I didn't post the one showing my lovely stretch marked, veiny belly.

I had another ultrasound at my 32 week appointment today to check up on a couple things from my first one. I had placenta previa at 20 weeks and the baby's kidneys had some fluid in them so we needed to do a follow up to see if the placenta previa corrected itself and to check the fluid levels. I am so happy to post the positive news that I no longer have placenta previa and the fluid levels are not at a level to worry about and they just need to be monitored when she is born. Hooray!! I would have had to have a c-section if the placenta had not moved. I was really worried about having one because first of all who wants a c-section and secondly it is much riskier for me to have one because of my blood disorder. I already have a high chance of hemorrhaging with a vaginal delivery and a c-section would have made it much harder to manage. Also, I would have had to be completely sedated during it because I am not allowed to have an epidural or spinal block and the thought of going to sleep and then waking up to a baby was not very attractive to me. I would rather go through 8-12 hours of hard pitocin induced labor med free and get to see my baby make her entrance.
It was fun getting to see her again in the ultrasound and watch her open and close her mouth and move around. The thought of having another baby just has not really hit me yet but watching her today made it hit me a little more. Wow, since I will be induced at 38 weeks that means there are only 6 weeks left. I am finally getting to the point where I am a little excited for the big day.

My recent project

Recently I decided I wanted to redo the girls room before the baby comes. I found some old antique beds at a store that were natural wood with an off white upholstered headboard that gave me the inspiration. I sold their bunk beds on craig's list which were a hot commodity apparently. I got about 15 calls within three hours and the first lady came and took them while everyone else was saying they were willing to pay more if I just sold them to them. It was kind of crazy and unexpected. So anyway, I decided to paint the beds black (with the help of Brad and Elizabeth) and change the upholstery to green and I put a sillouete of each girl on the upholstery. Brad and I painted their room pink and Elizabeth helped me make curtains and here is the finished result:

Ayden's sillouete is on the left side and Alex is on the right.

Now I just need to put some artwork on the walls and buy a dresser and their room is complete!
Thanks for all your help Brad and Elizabeth! Thanks for taking these pictures Kim (my camera is dead and we lost our charger, one more thing on my to do list).

The Human Body

I asked Ayden what she was drawing this morning and she told me it was the inside of a body. I think it is pretty impressive.
