New York, New York

We are finally back from two weeks of great fun. I will start with my trip to NYC with my Mom to see my sister. On the 18th of December I flew to SLC and met my mom at the airport and then we flew together to NYC. My little sister has been living in NY while attending Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in the Display and Exhibit Design program and she is loving it. It was so fun to see where she lived. I loved seeing her apartment, seeing her school and one of her window displays, seeing where she works, going to her favorite little restaurants, and just seeing how well she knows NY and the subway system. I just love that now I can picture what she is doing and where she is when I talk to her. It was also so much fun just having girl bonding time with her and my Mom. I have the greatest Mom and Sister and I am so glad we are all so close. Thanks Mom for such a wonderful trip!

This is from the night we arrived (yes, my eyes are kinda closed). It was around midnight but we were so excited to be there we stayed up forever talking.Hillary and her roommate Carly made their futon into a bed for us and even set out towels and bars of soap for us. So sweet. Her apartment is so fun and cute, for more pictures of it go here.
Most of the pictures we took are from Hillary holding the camera out in front of us so there are a lot like this. This one and the next two are from west village. I think one of the nicest parts of NY. I think I could even live there (like I could afford it, ha).

This was taken on our way to Wicked. It was a really great show. We also went to the Christmas Spectacular show with the Rockets. It was really fun.

Our first night we ate at a really good Italian place. It was good food and a fun environment.

One night we walked across the Brooklyn Bridge and went to the yummiest pizza place called Grimaldi's and then had some ice cream from the Brooklyn creamery. It was also a fun night because we got to meet the boy Hillary is dating. He is really great and I would have to say my Mom and I approve. Lets just say I am keeping my fingers crossed!

This is Richard, Hillary, me and my mom. Notice the ghost next to my mom.

My mom and I at Grimaldi's. Seriously if you ever go to NY you MUST eat here. The food is great and the old guy who is the host is an experience all by himself.

Aren't they cute?

The next night we went to Soho and ate at a fun restaurant called Bread and then walked around little Italy.
We also went to Rockefeller's center and saw the tree and this penny harvest from school children in NY. We also went to St. Patrick's cathedral.

Very nice, I enjoyed this post and your blog overall. I don't think Hillary wanted me to find this but I think this post was great. I downloaded a few pictures as well. I hope you had a Merry Christmas and a happy New Years.
