Brad competed in the Burley Spudman this past July. It is an olympic distance triathlon (.93 mile swim/ 24.8 mile bike/ 6.2 mile run). Brad did really well and it was fun to see him compete and finish such another big accomplishment.
I barely caught his finish.
I think those smiles are because he is done! Way to go babe.
My favorite party of spudman weekend is the extraordinary lunch at Brad's Mom's house afterward. A lot of brads extended family also competes so we all get together and celebrate.
One time you can eat and feel guiltless. You have to replace those calories, right?
Grandpa Mike also took the girls on a little trailer ride behind the 4-wheeler. They sure love that.
