Family Reunion- July 2010

My Granddad Gil (Mom's dad) was about to turn 80 so it was the perfect excuse for a get together.   Every single on of my Granddad's children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were able to come celebrate with him over the .  Some of the time was just my parents, siblings and our families and we filled up our time hiking, swimming and playing around grandma and grandpas house.  The cousins sure love to get together and it is fun to watch their relationships grow.  I can't wait to see them all again in a couple of weeks for Christmas!
Alex and Axel.  Their names share the same letters so there is an immediate bond there but this day they decided to go by princess Leia and Luke.

Brad built a fire pit in my parents yard and it got a lot of use roasting marshmallows.

My brother Kyle, his son spencer and I.

All the grandkids, minus the three babies, slept downstairs in a room with mattresses on the floor. They sure had fun down there but bedtime was a bit challenging.  It was just too much fun to calm down and sleep.
Grandpa found a gorp rock on our way to Mary's Lake.

 Taylor, Kayce and Lulu.
My hottie of a little sis, Hillary.

The group having a break at the lake.

 Laura and Annalyse.

We got to go swimming a couple of times.

One of the days Laura and I took all the kids minus two to Main Street on the bus.  Here they all are waiting at the bus stop.

All of them enjoying their loot from the candy store.

My Uncle Keith is an amazing cook and my Uncle Chris is really into smoking meat.  So they made a pretty incredible birthday dinner in honor of my Granddad.  Here is Keith with is ribs prepping them.

And the final product.  (sorry this is sideways).  I hear they were very good.
