Mother's Day Weekend

For Mother's Day the girls wanted to make something chocolaty and scrumptious. We intended to make these chocolate truffles decorated with sprinkles but as you can see the temptation to put the chocolate into our mouths was irresistible. We soon became jealous of Alex's chocostache. Jenni suprised us all by not cleaning the girls up but donning her own handle bar mustache.

Ayden decided to have a nice thin mustache with a fumanchew (soul patch).

Since Alex was the messiest, she had clean up duties. Surprisingly she didn't mind at all.

Put the chocolate down and stick 'em up!!!

This morning I heard the girls laughing histerically and I found them holding Laela who was "kissing" them. Of course Laela was simply trying to nurse since they woke her up but we let them think what they wanted. I just thought this was a cute picture.

On another note, Ayden is doing really well playing soccer. She is starting to get into it, running around and having fun. This video was of the very start of yesterday's game. She scored 2 seconds into the game (not that anybody keeps score at this age). I was proud to see her out running the bigger boys. We also thought it was super sweet of the girl on the other team to give her a high five.

Jenny, you really ought to stop taking those steroids! You guys are such a fun family. Can I be a Terry for the day?

That is so cute. I can't believe you caught that on tape. I love the way she looks over at you after she makes the goal. What a humble little girl. No celebrating, just as if she did not even score. I think she is so adorable! How do you keep from kissing that little face all the time!

Brad, you kind of look like dad with a mustache. You guys are so silly and fun. I wish I was closer so I could watch Ayden play soccer. Keep sending pictures.

One word...Yummmmmmm. Alex is my kind of niece! Glad she started your chocolate fiesta! Looks like your house was the place to be on Mother's Day. :) I'm coming next year.

I am now craving chocolate! Actually at first glance I thought it was barbecue sauce. Yummy. Those pictures are fabulous. The one of Alex holding up her hands is classic. Should be used in a commercial or something. I wish I could watch Ayden play soccer all the time. I just feel so proud of her! Such a go-getter!
