Alex wanted an Ariel cake this year. I know it is nothing fabulous but it made her happy!
She had so much fun opening all the presents. Ayden helped her open every single one but Alex was happy to have the help. They are such great sisters.

Alex's birthday wasn't a huge event this year but I know she felt special on her birthday and that is what matters. We had a nice family breakfast and then she got to talk to her grandma and grandpa Mammen and grandma Marsha on the phone. Later we opened presents and she blew out the candles on her cake. We also got to go to lunch and spend some time with Brad's brother Travis and his wife Becky and their daughter Kaybrie who were in town for a cheer competition. That evening we had fun with friends. I think she had a nice day and she loved all her presents.

Happy Birthday Alex! Claire has those same pop-beads and loves them. It was seriously some of the best money I've ever spent on that girl, they've provided hours and hours of entertainment.
Hey I just got caught up, I haven't had much time to blog lately. I love your two girls spending the special birthday together, that is so fun. I appreciated your health post, we definitely take it for granted at times...I am excited for you to be near the end of your pregnancy and being able to welcome your new little doll to your family.
I think your cake is cute! :) I have a question for you. Didn't Ayden have reflux? I'm worried Ellia does. What did you do to help her out? It's so sad. Ellia does this thing where she spits up and then swallows it and I know it's uncomfortable for her because she always starts crying afterwards. Any advice?
