We have a garden!!

Brad and I decided to do a garden this year. Brad built the three boxes and then we put pea gravel around them. I am so exited to see what comes of it. I hope things grow and they taste good. I asked a lot of people for tips and everyone just told me you have to just do it and learn from year to year so that is what I am doing. Someone already told me I have too many zucchini plants planted and I think we are also going to have a ton of tomatoes too. Oh well, this is a learning year, right? I planted a mix of some seeds and some plants but in the three boxes there are 2 kinds of tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, tomatillos, cilantro, chives, basil, zucchini, squash, beans, peas, peppers, lettuce and cucumber. We shall see what grows!

Good for you, Jenni!!! You know where to come if you end up with "too many"....I so wanted to do a garden, but curbing and concrete came first. Maybe next year....I love fresh picked veggies...there's nothing like it!! Good luck!!

Wow, what a beautiful garden and the boxes seem so well built!! Solid!! What a fun project to have and it's fun and therapeutic to tend to a garden.

Looks like things are doing great! Don't worry, those plants are going to get HUGE! Your boxes, and kids, won't know what hit them.
