Utah State Hey Aggies All The Way, Go Aggies, Go Aggies Hey Hey Hey!!!

Two of the things we miss most about Logan are USU basketball games and our friends the Egan's. This past week we were lucky enough to get both of them!!! Utah State played Boise State here in Boise Thursday night and it was an awesome game! It made me really miss going to the spectrum and watching the games. If anyone has been to an Aggie game at the spectrum then they understand that it is an experience like non other. USU fans are so unbelievably loud and excited and the energy you feel is awesome. They also have certain chants at certain times that everyone says if a certain thing happens and it is amazing to hear so many people in unison saying the same thing at the same moment with out anyone telling them to do it. I guess there are some new ones since we left and they are pretty funny. There were times at the game on Thursday that our 5% of Aggie fan were louder then the BSU fans. It was great! The best part is that we won!

The Egans came up for the game Thursday and met us at an alumni party where we had a really awesome dinner and got to run around on the smurf turf football field. I love the kind of friend that no matter how much time has gone by it is like no time went by at all. They have two little boys the same age as Ayden and Alex and it was fun getting them together. Hayley seriously kept me sane through my pregnancy with Ayden and the time after. It was kind of a stressful time with all the possible consequences of my pregnancy and then with Ayden being so fussy. We would get together and be super spontaneous and have tons of fun together. One time we walked 4 miles with month old babies just to get a really good shaved ice. The four miles back seemed a little daunting with hungry, hot babies that didn't nurse very well (they were our firsts) so we managed to find a ride home. Another time we went shopping to TJMax with our bundled babies in the middle of one of the biggest snow blizzards ever. No one else was on the road and the and we were the only ones in the store, the employees looked at us like we were crazy. Anyway it was just fun to be able to hang out again.

Brad and Alex after the win. Alex loved the game and the noise and lights and excitement of everything. I know, our seats were not that great but it didn't really matter and they were only 5 bucks.

Ayden on the other hand was a stinker and was freaking out because it was too noisy and she cried half the time until I bribed her with candy and pop. She was still grumpy though, here is she running away so I wouldn't take a picture.

Hayley's dad (he is behind brad) came up with them and he is a HUGE Aggie fan. He has season tickets and everything. He gets really into it and it was kind of funny watching him. He had this big flag and he was waving it around screaming and really getting some people fired up.
