I know it has been forever since I have posted so naturally this is going to be a long one. Especially since we just got back from a wonderful week in park city with our friends. We were busy skiing, shopping, eating and playing.
SKIING FUN (and a few other things)

Brad and Ayden about to take off skiing.

Ayden and Nikki on the gondola.

Ayden on a ski lift.

Brad and Ayden making funny faces on the gondola.

The girls and Brad had a blast sledding around the yard a couple of times during the week.

They also enjoyed swinging on the hammock swing.

Whitney and Devan enjoyed hanging out with brad too.

We had a great time at Alta one day. It was blue-bird day with deep powder.

DISCOVERY GATEWAY
We enjoyed an afternoon at Discovery Gateway.

At least some of us enjoyed it. Do you think these two did?

My mom and Alex enjoyed it. It was great to get to spend time with grandma and grandpa too. I can't imagine better grandparents. My kids are so lucky.

My mom and Alex dancing with Elmo.

You never know who you'll meet at sesame street!
EASTER WEEKEND

On Saterday Alex, Ayden, Brad and my Dad enjoyed a lunch at
Lone Star Taqueria. My dad and Brad will tell you that there isn't a better fish taco on the planet.

Then my mom and I met them at Thanksgiving point where we all hung out at the petting zoo.

Ayden and Alex couldn't get enough of the pony ride and Alex eventually had to be torn away from the horses. It was cute to see how comfortable Alex was around these horses. Though both girls loved the horses, Alex was the only one of the two brave enough to ride the biggest horse in the group.

After Thanksgiving point Brad and I got to go on a date while my parents took the girls home and dyed easter eggs. Once again, I am so grateful for what great grandparents they are. Not to mention what great parents they are for letting Brad and I go on a date. Thanks!

Easter Morning was very nice and my parents spoiled the heck out of the girls. We enjoyed a little indoor egg hunt and had a nice time at church. Brad's sister Amanda and her husband Jeff had dinner with us and played games (
Skittles, Speed Scrabble).

We all look so lovely, I know. Just keep your eyes on the girls.

Before Church we did a little photo shoot of the girls in their new Easter outfits from Grandma and Grandpa. You could just tell they felt as cute as they were.

Alex loves animals. She is so sweet and gentle with them. Hendrix, my parents cat, does not put up with much but he was fine with Alex.

What a fun trip! So jealous I didn't get to go any where. Loved seeing all the photos. Looks like you had a wonderful trip. I love the pics of the girls in their easter dresses..so darling. Yes, it's wonderful (if) you have great grandparents!! Ayden and Alex are sooooo cute! Can't wait for Ruby to have a little sis or bro someday!
Looks like a fun little trip. Your girls look darling in their Easter dresses with their hair in pigtails. I can't believe Ayden is old enough to ski.
Looks like SUCH a fun time. It's sad because we live less than 10 minutes from Thanksgiving Point and don't go there often enough. We'll have to make the petting zoo a priority!

What a fun trip! Ayden's becoming quite the little skiier! The girls look beautiful in the Easter dresses. I agree, Grandma has the best taste. Our kids totally lucked out in the grandparents department!
