It has been a while since I have posted anything. It seems things have been pretty busy around here. I will copy my friend Annie and do a little catch up on everyone.
Brad- In the engineering world everything is project based. Sometimes he doesn't have much work with no pressing deadlines and he is complaining he isn't busy enough and other times he is swamped with tons of work and complaining about the workload and deadlines. Usually this changes from week to week. However, this time he has been swamped since the beginning of December and pretty steadily busy before that. The 80 hour weeks and all nighters are definitely taking a tole on him and everyone else. I think when the slow week finally comes it will be the first time he is okay with it.
Jenni- My church calling and my framing has kept me pretty busy not to mention my two little terrors and their needs and messes. I have also found some time to read and I recently finished Into The Wild by John Krakauer and The Good Earth by Pearl S. Buck. Both of which have left me with many thoughts. It seems I have also seen a lot of movies lately. One in particular that I really liked was The Bucket List.
Ayden- Ayden is a roller coaster. I don't think you have seen a little girl go from being the sweetest thing in the world to the most emotional cranky little thing ever in the matter of a few seconds. She takes a lot of patience but sometimes she brings so much joy to us. Lately she has been testing what it means to tell the truth. She makes things up all the time. Such as, my mom said bla bla bla... My dad said bla bla bla... I have a brother that lives in New York but he is on a trip to Disney land right now... I have to wear my coat backwards because my Mom told me I have to... I have a loose tooth but you can't see it, only me... On thursday Dad told me I have to put peas in my macaroni. I am not sure what to do about it. I guess it might be a normal stage.
Alex- Poor little Alex. She has had quite a rough winter. In addition to all her ear infections she was just diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday. Besides a little bit of a cough and runny nose this past week I didn't notice anything alarming until Thursday night when she started breathing really fast and wheezing. I took her in to the doctor on Friday and she said she had full blown pneumonia and that she was really only using one of her lungs and the lung she was using was in bad shape too. I felt so awful that it had gotten so advanced with out me noticing. I read later that the bacterial form can be really sudden so I felt a little bit better. She has been on breathing treatments and antibiotics since. I didn't notice a big difference in her condition the first two days but today she seems to be getting better.
Here are some pictures from the past week:

This morning Ayden wanted to hold Alex while she did the breathing treatment. I thought it was so cute. Here is a picture of it and the video of them from behind while Ayden is singing I am a Child of God to her. Alex is a little fussy in it but usually she just sits there. It is also kinda hard to hear since the nebulizer is loud and don't forget to turn the music off on my blog too.

Pneumonia is scary. Easton wakes up every now and then and he can't breathe. It always happens so suddenly, poor little guy. I'm always the frantic mother since my little guy can't breathe. A lack of oxygen is pretty awful, if you ask me!
Oh my gosh...that is about the cutest thing I have ever seen!!! So sweet!!! And Ado with her make-up on...what a knock-out!!! Hope Alex gets feeling better soon...that is no fun!!! Poor girl!
Poor Alex! I love that video, it's so sweet! Ayden is such a cute big sister. I know what you mean about mood swings and three-year-olds, Janelle was the SAME WAY!!! Hang in there, four is a lot better, and once five hits, you won't know it had been the same girl 2 years ago!
I am so sorry about Alex. totally know how that boat feels!! Give me a call and we can chat nebulizer talk!! :)
That video is so sweet! It's great that your girls have each other. You guys have had a ton going on! Poor little Alex, I hope the breathing treatments help and she's all better soon. We just had some friends that had their little 2 year old at St. Al's for 3 nights with pneumonia and her mom said she didn't even suspect it coming on either.
I wondered if someone was sick, you seemed to absent from blogging for a while. Sorry hope everyone gets and stays happy.
I feeling for you on the work thing. Jeff just left for his second round of being gone for two weeks, it sucks to say the least. It is hard on the guys too. Sorry to hear about Alex being sick. Ethan had pneumonia before it was hard to see him so sick, he just layed there and didn't do anything. I Hope she gets feeling better soon.
Kim, I have to say that I think you have the work thing worse then me. As much as I feel like complaining sometimes I just keep telling myself at least brad isn't in Alaska like Jeff. Hang in there! If you ever need anything let us know!
Your poor little baby! I hope she is okay. You guys are always so busy!
I think that that is the cutest thing that I have ever seen! Your girls are so sweet!
