San Diego Here We Are!!

It is hard to believe but we are actually here in San Diego. Brad drove and arrived on Saturday night and the girls and I flew in on Sunday. The flight with both of the girls actually went very smoothly. We were very happy to be reunited as a family safe and sound. So far, we have really enjoyed California. Our apartment is really nice and we feel at home already. Ayden already calls it home and loves her queen sized bed. As Ayden moved up in the world by turning in her twin bed for a queen, Alex unfortunately had to down size from her nice crib and private room to a closet and a pack and play. Good thing she is too young to remember. Our apartment is right next to a an outdoor shopping center with more amenities in a half a mile block then in all of meridian combined. It has been fun checking out all of our shopping and eating options. Tonight we went to La Jolla Cove to show Ayden the sea lions. She thought they were pretty cool, yet lazy. She also got to play in the water a little bit with Brad. Alex was absolutely enthralled with the ocean. It mesmerized her. I think she loved watching the water and hearing the waves roll in. She was extremely happy all night long. We are really excited to have new adventures and see new things everyday. We have only just begun! Sun set at La Jolla Cove.
