Summer Fun!

One sunday morning before church Brad took Ayden to the temple to walk around and he also took her to see some fish at a park in Boise. They had fun and I got a nice quiet morning.

Ayden always wants to hold Alex. Alex puts up with it pretty well. Notice the bump on Ayden's forehead. The day this bump from falling on a sidewalk healed another one appeared from falling off a kid sized table. Poor girl!

The Mathews, Salisbury's and the Terry's at the Meridian Dairy Days Parade. They gave out T-shirst, string cheese and chocolate milk along with the traditional candy. It was a lot of fun.

Having smores after a BBQ at the mathews house.

Ayden enjoying her smores. She is trying to get to the best part of it. The chocolate of course.

Brad, Ayden, Alex River and I hiked a place called Table Rock at the top of a mountain in Boise. Brad, Ayden and River are having a break before heading down.

We have been having a great summer. Nothing too special or exciting but enjoyable all the same. We are really lucky to have made some really great friends here in Meridian. Our house is in between two families that we have gotten to know really well. We seem to do almost everything with them. I go swimming with the moms and kids almost everyday and then in evening and weekends we all get together and have BBQ’s, go out to dinner or just hang out. Other then that, we went to Burley for the fourth of July weekend and had a great time. We went boating and Brad also got some mountain biking in. Ayden loved boating and watching her awesome dad wake board behind the boat. She has one cool dad, that is for sure. We also took Ayden out on a jet ski which I would have to say was probably Ayden’s favorite thing she has ever done and one of the most nerve racking things I have ever done. Believe me, I love jet skiing as much as anyone but it was a totally different story taking my little two year old for a ride. I would never have forgiven myself if something happened but we were extremely careful. The whole time she was screaming and giggling with joy. When we stopped she started crying and begging to go again and again. The faster I went the happier she got. It was really fun to see her enjoy it so much. Unfortunately our trip was cut a little short because we were all sick and sleep deprived. It is hard sleeping all four of us in one room while there is a lot of coughing going on. But we had a great time.
