Fun in Park City

After a couple of eventful weeks apart, the Terry family has been happy to be back together. Brad traveled all over Montana inspecting their bridges enjoying the beautiful scenery. His pictures are beautiful. The highlight of his trip was Glacier. Since the girls and I were still in Park City, Brad did not have anything to hurry home to so he decided to take his time on the drive home and go through Glacier National Park. Just driving through Glacier for three hours he saw six black bears!! A mother and her two cubs along with three others on their own. The mother and her cubs ran right across the street in front of him. The Mother stopped in the middle of the road blocking his car while her cubs ran off to safety then she followed them. Brad stopped his car and got out to see where they went. He looked down the hill off the side of the road and then saw the cubs right in front of him at eye level. They had both climbed trees and the mother was standing on her hind legs with her paws on one of the trees staring Brad down. After a while she gave a huge snort and ran behind the trees out of sight but still keeping an eye on Brad no doubt. Brad said it was scary not knowing where the protecting mother was so he decided it was time to leave the little family alone. Thank goodness the crazy husband of mine is still alive!
Back in Park City, I was busy with my own little cubs. My two sister in laws and their kids all came to Park City and it was a lot of fun to get together with them. All of the kids had fun together. It was really great of Grandma and Grandpa to plan such a fun couple of days. We had a fun filled day of going to the Hogle Zoo and then playing in the little pool at grandma’s house. I will try to put more pictures up once I get them. I did not have my camera in Park City so I have to wait for my Dad to send them to me.
The girls had their doctors appointments this last week. Ayden had her two year appointment and Alex had her two month (even though she was 2 ½ months). Ayden was really good and did not even cry when the nurse gave her a shot. Ayden is still out little child she is in the 15th percentile for her weight and 10th percentile for the height. Alex on the other hand is our little chunk. She weighs 13 lbs 4oz. Which is the 90th percentile. That is what Ayden weighed when she was six months old! Alex was also in the 90th percentile for her height. I can’t wait for Alex to pass up Ayden. They are going to look like twins before too long. However they are both healthy girls. Brad and I are so blessed to have these little girls in our life.
