Oh my gosh Jenni and Brad! I watched the whole thing because she is adorable! I'm pretty impressed with Brad and his Donald sounds and Jenni...you look amazing! Seriously.
Thanks for your comment! Glad to hear we're not the only ones with a little sugar and spice (aka Addi). Quick question...how did you make the girls' silhouettes on their beds?
Jenni it makes me sad that i haven't even seen her yet!! She is so cute and looks just like Ayden did as a baby!! How are you guys doing? How are you doing with three?? I'm starting to think about gettting pregnant...and it is really making me scared!!! When's a good time to call?? We need to catch up??? Hope you have a great 4th!!!
Jenni, thanks so much for having the courage to tell me something I really needed to know! I have little to no experience with 'the vegetarian thing' and everyone I know who as done it, it has ended up that they were 'trying it' and going back to meat. So I was talking from my {very limited} viewpoint.
However, in thinking about what you've said I realize how silly, and condescending of a thing that is to the other 99% of people who as you say, aren't trying it out, they are vegetarian. I can see how it comes off as condescending, when it TOTALLY wasn't meant like that.
I was, however, coming from the context where someone would be 'trying it out' because TVP is a 'fake meat' -as I lovingly call it, product. So when I think of vegetarians who are the 'real thing' I don't picture them being remotely interested in a meat substitution that mimicks meat - I see them as interested in healthy, protein based meat substitutions that are meat alternatives, which to me there is a huge difference between alternative and substitution, you know? So when I was talking, I was thinking of that person who wants to 'do the vegetarian thing' but is unsure and wants to try some substitutions and see how it goes. Does that make any sense?
It's just to explain my thought process on it. Oh, and one last excuse. I talk about vegetarianism on all of the TVP videos, so it is hard to find ways to say the same thing a different way as well!
So, long story short, I think all of this is really important to explain in a comment I will leave on the video on youtube so that people understand my true meaning and not how it comes across. I really do appreciate you pointing that out to me, I don't want everyone to tell me how great they are all of the time because I know they're fine but they have a long way to go before they are something I will truly be happy with. And besides the things that are obvious to me that I need to fixed, there are others like this that I had a complete blind-spot about, and am so happy that someone will point out to me, so I really do truly thank you Jenni!
Jenni- It is such an awesome thing! You have to sign your kids up at the Grizzly/Wolf Discovery Center about at least an hour ahead of the "feeding" time. They feed the bears at 10:30 and at 6 (I think it's 6). They have limited spots, first come first serve. It is $10.50 for adults and much less for kids, can't really remember like $5 maybe..an extra $2 to do the bear feed. A few dads went and signed all our kids up about 8:30am (opening time) so we were sure to get all the cousins in...but when it came time there was one spot left..I'm sure it just depends on the day and time for how busy they are. Good luck and have a good time!
