It was YELLOW!
I really do consider myself educated when it comes to food and different varieties of things but I had no idea watermelon could come yellow. I thought I knew everything there was to know about watermelon coming from a home where it was a major staple in our diet thanks to my Dad but I guess not. At first I wondered if it could be a mistake and if it was possible the watermelon plant cross pollinated with a squash or something but when I tasted it I knew no mistake could taste so heavenly. It was the sweetest watermelon I have ever tasted. I've since learned thanks to my pal Google that it is a yellow crimson watermelon that is known to taste sweeter than the traditional red watermelon and has a more honey like taste. I would agree. It was so great. If you ever have a chance to try one I certainly suggest it! Thanks BrownBox.

Mmm...sounds good...and you didn't bring me any!!!...shame, shame on you!!!
I just tried one of those over the summer too! It WAS yummy!
That sounds scrumptious. I might have to try the produce in a box thing next season - that sounds really great. At least until I get ambitious enough to actually grow a garden of my own...
Hey what is your email address? I have a few questions for ya :)
yum...it kind of looks like squash or something. i like sweet things so i'll have to give this a try!
Hey! I left you this comment but didn't know if you would check back or not. Was it the freshly ground stuff or something like Adam's PB? Hmmmm...
This is so great to have a mystery box of fruit and veg! I'm sure that makes it fun! Actually when we were in Taiwan you could ONLY get Yellow Watermelon most times. It was fun at first, but I got over the novelty quick -I started to really miss my red!
Your hair looks great, it looks redish-auburnish -is it just the lighting or just me? I love it, it looks beautiful on you. And congrats to Brad on another Latoja! You guys seriously look like you've thoroughly enjoyed your summer!
Okay, sorry I've been a lame family blogger lately, but here's my comment:
Hey Jenni -yeah, was it that stuff that is freshly ground? I really love that kind, but NO, not good for this recipe! You'd be best to use the skippy or jif for this one! Sorry! I thought I maybe should have mentioned that.
You could maybe get away with it by adding more sugar and butter, regular PB already has those added so you didn't have to add that much.
Once ours set up, as in the chocolate was back to solid form, it wasn't sticky and messy -you know similar to caramel corn where you're going to be licking your fingers but not have it oozing and sticking all over you, no, not at all.
Once again on that note, if you do use natural, you are also probably going to have to cook it with the butter and sugar on the stove like candy so that it will set up better. Probably just boil it for a few minutes.
Thanks for leaving the comment either way -people do read through these before making things so it will hopefully be useful to someone! And sorry it didn't work for you, it is always such a shame to make the effort and use the time and money to not have something turn out.
If you end up trying it with regular, will you let me know how it goes?
Having fruit delivered to your home each week?.... Brilliant!!! Where do I sign up?
