This weekend we went to Burley for the Spudman triathalon. Brad along with 13 other friends and family competed in the Olympic size event which included a mile swim, 26 mile bike ride and a 6 mile run. The girls and I had a lot of fun watching everyone. Brad did really well! It was his first triathalon and he finished in 2 hour 22 minutes. He accomplished his goal which was under 2 1/2 hours.
Here I caught a picture of the back of him during the end of the bike. He is the one waving in the black suit.

Then the girls and I ran across the golf course just in time to see him begin his run. I know it is hard to see him but this is him waving again.
Here he is finishing the race with a great sprint. He is the one in front. Way to go Brad, I am so proud of you!
The girls were very excited to see Brad finish. Everytime he would go by and then not stop for us Alex would get pretty upset. I am not sure she understood the whole thing, she just wanted her daddy.
Here is a lot of the friends and family that competed. From left to right: Dana (bro-in law), Ryan (friend), Tyler (friend), Brittney (friend), Brad, Amanda (sister), Jeff (bro-in law), Todd (friend), Lindsy (cousin), Rita (Aunt- who has done it 17 times!) and Hailey (cousin).
AlexI know, right, you are all thinking that we are horrible parents for putting this over our children's heads. We probably are but it created great laughs.
One of Ayden's very favorite things about going to Grandmas house are the 4-wheeler rides from Grandpa Mike. He gave her a fun, long ride and she loved every second of it.I feel moved to say that while the Spudman was a great experience for us we know it was not for everyone. We would like to give our condolences to the Morehouse family who lost their loved one during the event and we pray that they will be comforted for their loss at this time.

good job brad!
Wow!! Pretty impressive Brad. Way to go!!! Someday hope to follow your footsteps and finish one.
Great job Brad! You looked pretty cool!
Yet another adventure in the lives of the Terry family. I live vicariously through your blog, you know. I'm not inspired to do a triathalon, though - not my cup of tea. One day I'm going to do something fun and I'm going to put it on my blog just to show Jenni Terry that sometimes other people can have fun too. How did you guys get to be so fun?
Brad you rock. You must be in the best shape right now! Congratulations on beating your goal time. Love the pictures with the swim cap!
Congrats on the triathlon! that's amazing.
yay, way to go! Looks like a blast-- we totally want to do a triathlon. Jenni I am always so blown away by the people I see on your blog that I know. Britney and Tyler went to high school with Trent and me! When I saw the picture I thought it looked like them... I'm glad you put names down so I knew! We just saw them at the 10 year reunion.
Aloha Terry's!!!
Brad...YOU DA MAN!!! I’m fat and out of shape right now...They would need to do CPR on me after the first leg of the race for sure! Way to go.
I hope this finds you all well. We just got back from a long Japan vacation (48 days!) and everyone is busier than ever getting back to school! Lansen is in the 1st grade, Bradin started Kindergarten, and Happy just started preschool!
Please keep in touch!
