River and Alex have a really cute relationship. River has always been a little leery of Ayden and he will play with her but he usually just keeps his distance. However, he does not seem to mind Alex at all and sometimes he even seems to enjoy her company. After church yesterday we found them both outside just hanging out and we thought it was too cute.
Today I went to the gym then had to rush home, shower and go visiting teaching so Alex got rushed from place to place all morning and did not have a nap. By the time I got home from visiting teaching it was about 12:50 and she was really tired but I thought she should have a little lunch before her nap. I got her all settled and left the room and when I went back in to check on her, this is how I found her, still holding a piece of sandwich and everything...
