Alex turns one today! She is such a special baby and the past year has truly been pure joy with her. She brings a smile to our face constantly. She is very easy going and good natured. As Grandpa Bill once said, her face is kindness. We can't wait for all the coming years of smiles she has to bring us. We love our Alex.
(we had a joint birthday party for her last Saturday and we will have a little family one tonight so more pictures will come shortly)

Thanks for the book and onesie for Alex. It came yesterday just in time for our little party. It was so nice of you to remember her. It meant a lot. It was kind of a sad birthday for Alex because she was really sick with a fever and did not want to do anything or eat anything so we did not even have cake. Good thing we had a party the weekend earlier.
